What URBANSWEAT says:
LiveBreathe is a small private gym, located upstairs in an apartment block in Randwick. They run personalized programs as well as classes, and outdoor sessions in two locations, Tamarama and Queenspark. The gym is well equipped with the new machines and training equipment, but is quite compact and can be loud when the music and machines are all being used. Livebreathe offer personalised programmes and keep member numbers down, so if you prefer staying anonymous at your gym, this place isn’t for you. A nutrition program is included in your joining fee, and you will also get ongoing support. Some classes come with a nanny to look after children if you need childcare. Bring your own towel and water, and note there are no shower facilities. Our favourite class is the Signature Six because it is a high energy, circuit with weights and cardio. There are only six people in class, so it’s almost a private session with a trainer, and you do a lot of it in pairs. Every week there are different exercises so your body never gets complacent. The workouts tend to be fast paced, high energy, with a mix of cardio and weights and high reps. LiveBreathe also offers a variety of 21-day programmes, as well as a pre- and post-natal fitness programme. It’s easy to get to on public transport as the bus stops right outside, but there’s also street parking and a car park in Royal Randwick Shopping Centre nearby, which offers two hours free.
